Hiking
Tenerife is a classic hiker's paradise. Hiking tours in various degrees of difficulty up to the high alpine tour on Spain's highest mountain, the Pico del Teide, are possible here. The trails through the Anaga Mountains in the northeast of the island of Tenerife offer wildly romantic tours with perfect views. Anaga Mountains and Teno Mountains with their dense laurel and tree growth are the wander hotspots on Tenerriffa. The original and poorly developed mountain landscape is a paradise for all nature lovers. Climbers and mountaineers will also get their money's worth here.
The El Refugio is just right for all hikers, namely in the north of the island and thus offers the perfect starting point for excursions in a romantic unspoiled nature with stunning views.

This horse farm offers various rides, riding lessons, as well as riding with barbecue. Finca Estrella also offers various riding programs for children. The farm is located between La Guancha and lcod and consists of two open-air stables, a riding arena, and other equestrian facilities on the biologically managed Finca terrain.

The Rancho Bonanza ranch in the south of Tenerife is about 1.8 hectares in size and lies within a rocky area. The horses are housed in the typical island caves and are therefore cool in summer and warm in winter. About 50 horses are kept in the yard. The ranch also has a large practice area (Picadero) for dressage, riding school and competitions. The riding lessons are in German language.
Golf
Golfing is becoming increasingly popular. The combination of nature experience, peace and sportive exercise may be the motivation for this. In Tenerife you will find golf courses that meet a wide range of demands. The fairways often allow wonderful views of the Atlantic Ocean and the mountainous landscape of the island. PARASAILING
Due to the trade winds prevail on the island favorable conditions for paragliding, but beware: Because of extreme turbulence and strong winds, it is not always safe to fly in the Canary Islands! There are several areas where this sport is practiced, mostly in the north, in Los Realejos and Mesa del Mar. Because of the lack of landing sites due to the island's landscape, land is usually landed on the beaches. The best known school for this sport is the Escuela de Parapente lzana in Güimar, Tel. 922 52 45 26.

DIVING
The underwater world of Tenerife is unique. With a visibility of more than thirty meters, immerse yourself in a strange world with colorful, exotic fish and shimmering shoals of fish. Turtles, cuttlefish, barracudas, groupers and rays are also found in the Canarian underwater landscape. In sunken shipwrecks angels shy, and with a little luck even seahorses show up. Strange aquatic plants are a hiding place for small fish and crabs, and they gently weigh in the ocean current. Also the light reflections in the submarine cave system are fascinating. The waters around Tenerife offer almost perfect conditions for sailing and water skiing. Motorboat and sailboat charters are available in the port of Los Cristianos, Puerto Colon in Playa de las Americas and the port of Los Gigantes.
